Emma H.
Barreda
December 1, 1943 – November 9, 2025
In Loving Memory of Emma H. Barreda
With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Emma H. Barreda, who left this world peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on December 1, 1943, Emma lived a full and spirited life that left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know her.
Emma was a proud business owner, a creative soul, and a woman who lived life entirely on her own terms. She loved everything about arts and crafts, always creating, decorating, or finding new ways to bring beauty into the world. With a Coca-Cola in hand and a cigarette close by, she'd tell you exactly what she thought, always real, always honest, and always with her signature sarcasm that could make anyone laugh, no matter the moment.
She was deeply loved by her family and friends, who will forever remember her humor, her strength, and the way she made every gathering brighter. Though she will be missed dearly here on earth, we find comfort in knowing that Emma is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Jose Felipe Barreda, her son JB Barreda, her grandchildren Daniel Michael and David Augustine Moreno, and her great-grandson Bryan Joseph Vega. She is survived by her children Loulean Ligeia Barreda- Valdez, Joseph P. Barreda, Emma Barreda, and Tasha "Cindy" Barreda, along with her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will continue to honor her memory with the same strength, wit, and unapologetic honesty that made her unforgettable.
Emma's legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired, the love she shared, and the memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
