Encarnacion M. Ponce Jr. gained his wings on Thursday, May 19, 2022.He is preceded in death by his parents Encarnacion Ponce Sr.; mother Julia M. Ponce; son Jacob Encarnacion Ponce; step-son Hector Ruben Lopez; brother's Hipolito Ponce, Benjamin Ponce, George Ponce, Jesse Ponce; sister's Carmen Ponce, Esperanza Ponce, Fortunata Ponce, Juliana Bueno, and Dolores Ramirez. Encarnacion is survived by his loving wife for over 60 years, Estella L. Ponce, and his beloved children; Sandra Garza (Joel Garza), Roland Ponce, Julie Ponce, Pamela Perez (James Perez), Eddie Ponce (Ida Ponce), Diana P. Rios (Raymond Rios), and Christopher Ponce (Erika Riojas), he is also survived by his brothers Joe Ponce, Ernesto Ponce, and sister Irene Ponce. Encarnacion leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, and family. He will be remembered for bringing joy to the world with his music and his love for boxing. We will forever treasure his witty sense of humor; like the nick names he gave to each of his children and grandchildren. Funeral Mass: St. Jude Catholic Church at 9:30am

Interment: Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery---- eta 11:00am
