Enrique Sanchez, 78, passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on April 5, 2022. Enrique was born in Torreon, Coahuila on August 14, 1943.  In 1962 he relocated to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas where he met his long time love Maria A. Sanchez. He is Preceded in death by: Juanita De Leon De Anda (mother) and Aurelio Sanchez (father). He is survived by his loving spouse Maria A. Sanchez. Enrique and Maria married in 1968 and were happily married for 53 years, and raised three children when they moved to San Antonio, TX in 1969.  Enrique (Henry) Sanchez Jr. (Maria) – Cristian and Arianna, Elsa Patricia Munoz (Juan) – Ivan, Yuliana, and Lia Jacquelyn Rodriguez (Christopher) – Julian, Jaeden, and Aaron. He also had 8 Grandchildren whom he loved and adored.  Enrique's passion was playing pool.  He was a member of the Ballard's League Association of San Antonio for over 20 years. When he was not playing pool he enjoyed traveling to casinos to play slot machines. However, his absolute love was spending time with his family and eight grandchildren. He spent many weekends grilling and spending time at home with family. Enrique was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
