Enrique (Henry)
Treviño Jr.
December 15, 1941 – March 11, 2022
Enrique Treviño, Jr. (Henry) gained his wings on March 11, 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 80 years old and was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 15 th , 1941.
He retired from the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. After graduating from John Marshall High School in 1959, he married his high-school sweetheart, Mary Lou (Alvarado) Trevino and was happily married for 61 years.
Upon retirement, he held several jobs, and once he returned to San Antonio, he became a counselor at Crosspoint (Half-Way House.) He later retired to enjoy time with his family. When he was feeling better, and on a good day, you could find him in his man cave (garage) putting together his model airplanes and listening to his favorite music. He was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan.
Enrique was loved and will be missed by:
His wife: Mary Lou Trevino; his children: Gilbert Edward Treviño, James A. Treviño, and Debra T. Aguirre (Richard.) His grandchildren: Matthew E. Treviño (Jessica), Kathryn Treviño, Danielle T. Aguirre, Elizabeth Treviño, and Gabriel Treviño (Loryanne); great granddaughter: Isabella. He is also survived by his sister, Carmen Cortez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. And of course, his fur babies: Samantha, Buster and Khloe who were his constant companions and faithfully watched over him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Enrique Treviño Sr.; and Margarita (Gonzalez) Treviño; siblings: Amelia Garcia and Raymond Treviño.
Enrique was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle and will be greatly missed.
