Ernestina V. Ruiz was called Home into the Lord's arms on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the age of 60. A native San Antonian, Ernestina was born on June 4, 1964, to Marcelino and Lydia Villanueva. Ernestina was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, and fur grandma. She is reunited in Heaven with her Mother Lydia Villanueva and her beloved husband Simon Noel Ruiz. Ernestina is survived by her loving daughters Sabrina C. Ruiz and Chrissy M. Ruiz; Father Marcelino M. Villanueva; brothers San Juan Villanueva and Marcelino Villanueva Jr., sisters Genoveva Perez and Virginia Gonzales, and brother Ramiro Villanueva; her fur baby Milo, fur grand babies Jules and Odie; along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will depart in procession on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Please arrive at the funeral home by 9:00 a.m. to depart in procession.
