Esperanza C. Delgado was born August 29th 1943 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She passed away peacefully on February 16th 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.

Esperanza was preceded in death by her husband David Delgado Jr. and her daughter Patricia A. Zavala. Esperanza leaves behind two sons Toby Delgado and David C. Delgado III; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sisters Alicia C. Martinez, Linda Levine, Josie Teniente; Brothers Lorenzo Cisneros Jr. and Robert Cisneros.

Esperanza lived her life to the fullest. She loved doing her word search puzzles, knitting, and watching her Spanish stories. Esperanza liked going to her favorite restaurant to eat and made friends anywhere she went. She would help anyone that crossed her path who needed it. May she rest in peace.

Visitation to take place on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart from Castillo Funeral Home in procession at 9:30am on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 for a Graveside Service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:30am.
