Esperanza "Hope" N. Gomez went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2023, with her family by her side in San Antonio, TX. She was born November 27, 1934 in San Antonio, TX to Jesus Jose and Corina Noriega. She is reunited in heaven with her husband Edward M. Gomez; brother Jose Noriega. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her children Edward N. Gomez (Yvonne), Melissa Gomez; grandchildren Edward Gomez, Vanessa Gomez, Veronica Ortega, Manuel Rene Acevedo, Amanda Mora, Marcus Anthony Acevedo, Rosanna Acevedo, Matthew Gomez; 17great-grandchildren; sisters Lupe Trujillo, Mary Noriega, Velia Noriega; as well as extended family and friends. Heaven has gained a treasured soul. She will live forever in our hearts.
