Esther C. Gonzales passed away peacefully on July 30, 2022. Esther was born in San
Antonio, TX. Where she lived to be 82. Esther loved and served the Lord faithfully all her
life, she was a proud lifelong member of Templo Sion Assembly of God Church.
Esther graduated in 1958 from Fox Tech high school and for over 20 years she owned
and operated Esther's Reweaving Shoppe which was in downtown San Antonio on the

th floor of the Gibbs building which is now Hotel Gibbs and she was one of the last
known Reweavers in South Texas. Esther enjoyed and valued her independence and was
a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. Esther never missed a single San Antonio Spurs game, and
you could find her shopping at Joske's, Dillards and Macy's. She also loved listening to
Elvis and enjoyed her daily walks.
Esther was preceded in death by her father, Jesus M. Gonzales and mother Margarita C
Gonzales and sister Eva C. Gonzales.
Esther is loved and will be missed by her brother, Moises Gonzales; sister Magdalena G.
Ogden and sister Noemi G. Overholt. Esther has numerous nephews and nieces who she
loved and enjoyed along with extended family and friends.
