Eugene (Geno)
John Dominguez 12/04/73-02/08/20
On February 8th, 2020 Geno earned his wings and joined our Lord at the age of 46.
He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Dominguez Jr and survived by his loving wife Antoinette Dominguez, Mother Ester, Brother Christopher and Sister Jessica.
Geno was a devoted and loving husband, son, brother, uncle and Godfather. He was a humble and a loving man of God with a heart of gold; a devoted Catholic who loved to spread the word of the Lord. He was a true testament of what Faith can do, a true Man of God. No matter what health struggles he had he always praised God and was eager to share his testimony with anyone who thought they had it rough. He never let his disability or frail health stop him from walking in his faith even when confined to wheelchair.
He was proud to wear the title of Uncle and Godfather, He will be deeply missed by his nieces Maricella, and Alyssa Cary and by his Godchildren Maricella, Alyssa, Amberly and Ryan.
He was a proud member of the ACTS community, a Guadalupano with the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and served with many ministries throughout our Westside community: Holy Family Men of Faith, Christ the King Disciples of God and taught CCD at St. Stephens Catholic church. He never forgot where he came from and was proud to proclaim he was a graduate of Edgewood High school.
He played high school football and went on to play semi-pro football for the San Antonio Aztecs. He loved his Texas sports teams and was a proud fan of the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros and the San Antonio Spurs.
When you became friends with Geno you had a friend for life. He was a true prayer warrior who would stop whatever he was doing to answer all prayer requests, always putting everyone's needs before his own; a gentle giant with a kind soul.
