EVA CASTRO QUIROGA
November 25, 1945 – May 27, 2023
Eva Castro Quiroga passed away on May 27, 2023, at University Hospital, surrounded by the
warmth and love of her family. She was 77 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on
November 25, 1945.
Eva was devoted Christian and member of Church Place for Life. Faithful in her belief in God
and her family. In her early years she graduated from cosmetology school and owned her own
beauty salon. She married her love, Alejandro Quiroga, who preceded her in death in May
1979. She treasured the beautiful memories of her family and God throughout her 77 years on
this earth. She was a big fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. She will be missed
tremendously.
Eva is also preceded in death by her son- Honey Matthew Quiroga, Mother- Elvira Castro,
Father- Alejandro Castro, Jr, and brothers: Adam, Alejandro II, Fernando, and Joe Castro.
Eva is loved and will be missed by her daughters: Yvonne Quiroga, Edna (Edee) Quiroga, Yvette
Quiroga, son: Alejandro (Alex) Quiroga, Jr. and her 6 grandchildren: Loren Quiroga Washington,
Elizabeth Quiroga, Alexis Quiroga, Addison Quiroga Pfrang, Raquel Quiroga, and Ashlan Quiroga
as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
