Eva G. Trevino passed away on April 19, 2026

Born in San Antonio, TX she was the daughter of Rudolpho & Eloisa Gonzalez. She was raised, and educated in the San Antonio area. She attended the Baptist School of Nursing where she earned her LVN degree.

Eva devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a nurse. She began her career at Baptist Hospital, and later served for more than 30 years. Over the course of her long and dedicated career, she was respected by colleagues, and deeply appreciated by the countless patients, and families she helped during difficult moments.

Eva had a lifelong love of socializing, and being outdoors, she cherished the opportunity to discuss politics, and enjoying the companionship of friends, and family. She especially valued the time spent with those close to her, by sharing conversations, dancing, singing, listening to music, and laughter. She also loved the beach, and fishing, where she found peace, and happiness by the water.

She is reunited in heaven by her Husband, Peter Ochoa Trevino. Her son Pete Jr.Trevino. Her Mother Eloisa Gonzalez, and her Father Rudolpho Gonzalez. Her Siblings Mario Gonzalez, Gonzalo Gonzalez, Delia Diaz, Carmen Samiego, and Emma De la Garza. She is loved and will be missed by her children daughter Grace Reyes, son Paul Trevino proceeding spouse Marylou Trevino, proceeding son Peter Trevino Jr, surviving spouse Margie Trevino. Daughter Gina Farmer, spouse Dwayne Farmer, son Gerald Trevino, spouse Sandra Trevino, followed by 16 grandchildren, and 31 great grand children.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00p.m-8:00 p.m. Rosary Service at 6:00pm at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen San Antonio, TX 78228
