Evangelina Hidalgo was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the blessed age of 86. She was born September 11, 1935 in Laredo, TX to Rodolfo and Petra Saldivar. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, brother Leopoldo Gil Medellin; son Fernando Hidalgo. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Sergio G. Hidalgo; children Sergio Hidalgo, Jr., Laura Hidalgo (Joseph Alvarado), Rudy Hidalgo, Esther Diaz (Alex); grandchildren: Luis Vega III (Janet), Michelle Hernandez (Felipe), Fernando Hidalgo Jr., Adrian Faz (Blanca), Michael Faz, Justin Hidalgo, Alex Diaz Jr.; Siblings Pete Medellin, Olga Medellin Vargas (David);Great Grandchildren Luis A Vega IV, Genaceli A Vega, Kyleen P. Martinez, Alex Hidalgo, Audrey R Faz, Adrian Faz Jr., Ariana Faz, Anisa Faz, Augustine Faz, Yolanda Faz, Fernando Faz, Angel Faz, Marius R Hidalgo, Priscilla Hernandez and Marsela Hernandez as well as extended family members. Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing. She will live forever in our hearts.
