Felix Solis Jr., beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by precious family on February 14, 2025, at the age of 79 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on September 26, 1945, in Donna, TX, to Felix and Benita Solis, who preceded him in death, as well as his sister, Maria Magdalena Solis.

Felix is survived by his loving wife, Isabel; his children, Felix Solis III (Linda) and Sylvia Solis Zamora (Peter); 7 siblings: Frances ( Mike), Alicia ( Daniel), Carmen (Ernesto), Rosalinda (Abraham), Aracelia, Diana (Paul), and Pedro (Gloria). He was proud of his 5 grandchildren and their families: Taylor, Marcus, Jeremy, Vanessa, and Brandon, and numerous nieces and nephews that adored him as well.

A proud veteran, Felix dedicated many years of his life to serving his country. He enlisted in the Army at an early age and proudly served for four years, then served in the Army National Guard before continuing his military career with the U.S. Marine Corps. His commitment to service and country was a defining part of his life.

Felix's family was the cornerstone of his life and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on through his wife, children, family, and the many lives he touched during his time with us.

A funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church. The date is still pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
