Fernando G. Gonzales, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the age of 86. Fernando was born October 6, 1933 in Big Foot, Texas, to Fernando and Maria De Jesusa Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Cecilia T. Gonzales; sons, Luis Gonzales, Mario Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales; and sister Cecilia Brown. Left to cherish his memories is wife of 22 years Beverly E. Gonzales; son Fernando Gonzales (Melynda); sister, Librada Powell; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. Mr. Gonzales was proud to have served in the United States Army. He was always trying to lend a helping hand to everybody. He also helped the Lakehills Food Bank distribute food to families in need. He was an honorable man with a heart of gold.
