Florence "Flo" O'Connor, born October 13, 1963, walked with Jesus on March 5, 2026, less than 48 hours after the passing of her beloved mother. Flo passed away in the loving arms of her children.Flo was preceded in death by her father, Frank; her mother, Charlotte Ann Kapusta; and her brother, Frank "Spider."
She is lovingly survived by her children: Jennifer Lopez (David Lopez), Jessica O'Connor, and Joseph O'Connor III. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kimberly (Ashley), Makayla, Jayden, Zaya, Aubriana, Joseph, David Jr., Eli, Aaron, and Kam, and a great-grandmother to Hayden. Her family was the center of her world and her greatest source of pride.
Flo was a hardworking and dedicated woman who excelled in everything she did. She spent over 20 years as a top-rated deli manager for H-E-B, where her strong work ethic and leadership earned the respect of coworkers and customers alike.
Above all else, Flo was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was fiercely loyal—something rare and deeply valued by everyone who knew her. Flo was truly the rock of her family, always offering strength, guidance, and unconditional love.
Her presence filled every room with warmth, humor, and comfort. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love and memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Flo's family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones and resting peacefully with Jesus.
