Obituary

Florencio G. Estrada Sr., beloved father and brother, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2024, at the age of seventy-seven. He was born on November 27, 1946 to the late Eduardo Ruiz Estrada and Francisca Reyna Estrada in San Antonio, Texas.

A graduate of East Central High School '68, Florencio entered into the United States Army, proudly serving in the 1st Infantry Division as a tank operator during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, Florencio became employed with Butter Krust bread company in his hometown. He worked his way from front operations as a head mixer during his forty-two years of employment with Butter Krust.

He is reunited in heaven with his wife, Elvira M. Estrada; parents, Eduardo Ruiz Estrada and Francisca Reyna Estrada; and five brothers and sisters.

Florencio's legacy is celebrated and remembered by his children, Florencio M. Estrada Jr. and Nora Conde (Joel Conde); siblings, Mary Saenz, Ruben Estrada, and Hortencia Nuñez; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary to begin at 6pm. A chapel service will be conducted at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with military honors.
