Frances G. Benitez

Our beloved mother Francis G Benitez went home to Jesus on April 29, 2026.

Francis was born in Refugio, Texas to Librado and Anita Gonzalez on June 22, 1938. She was the youngest of six children.

Francis had a deep love for music and was a successful Small Business Owner. She was a longtime member and supporter of the VFW Post 4700 where you could find her on the dance floor surrounded by lifelong friends lost in the music she loved.

She has survived by her children, Ted (Gloria), Lori (David) and Esther. One sister, Nena Lerma. Seven grandchildren, Devin (Amanda), Tammy (Pete), Ted IV (Casey), Dylan, David (Cindi), Daniel, and Dam Damien (Clarissa), and eleven great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.

Francis will be profoundly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
