Frances M. Oliver
April 23rd, 1932 - December 6th, 2022
On Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, the Lord called Frances M. Oliver to her eternal resting place. She was preceded in death by her parents Isabel Guzman and Alberto Martinez Sr., husband Frank Oliver Jr., brother Alfredo Martinez, brother Alberto Martinez Jr., sister Dolores Whitmore (Loli), granddaughter's husband Jose A. Ovalle, great grandson Joseph M. Molina, and her loving Companion of 15 years Robert C. Jaimes.
She was born on April 23rd, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas. She worked at Swift Independent Meat Company for 30 years. She also worked as a Home Health Aide for over 5 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born during The Great Depression, lost her mother at a very young age on Valentine's Day, and lived a very tumultuous life. This gave her an inner strength which I will never fully fathom. She was a beautiful, formidable and determined woman, who loved fiercely, but with the most gentle of hearts. In better times, her laughter was infectious and her smile could light up a room. She gave all that she could, even when she had nothing, and did thoughtful things for everyone in her life. Her beauty, selflessness, & tender love will forever be cherished in the hearts and minds of her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ozuna, daughter Cynthia Ann Duran, son Brian Oliver & wife Sandra Perez, daughter Roxanne Oliver, sister Marina (Nina) Holston, 16 Grandchildren, and 24 Great Grandchildren.
The family of the late Frances M. Oliver acknowledges with profound appreciation, the many prayers, & other expressions of love and sympathy during these hours of bereavement. May God continue to bless you & keep you in His loving care.
One Memory Away
I would love to have stayed here on this earth just one more day,
For it broke my heart to leave you here alone, But God whispered softly in my ear and said "My child it's time."
Then He took my hand in His and led me home.
We journeyed up above the stars, just beyond the moon,
Where very soon we came to Heaven's gate.
I was welcomed by all who'd gone before with open arms
As the Angels all sang Amazing Grace.
But God couldn't help but notice I kept looking back towards earth
Wondering if you were okay.
Then He laid His hand upon my shoulder and said "Remember child,
You'll just be one memory away."
So if today the pain seems overwhelming,
Please look into your heart.
For there you'll find,
My love for you will always be there. For when I left, I left my love behind,
the good times that we shared, the laughter and the tears,
Every second of every single day,
Will all be there, held safely in your heart,
Until we meet again at Heaven's gate
And until ten... I'lI just be one memory away.
