It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Francisco M. Maldonado Sr. "Chuy" at the blessed age of 72. He passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, leaving behind a loving family and many friends. Francisco was born on July 26, 1951, in San Antonio, TX.

"Chuy" is now reunited with his mother, Connie Lopez, and his grandfather, Lucio Martinez, in heaven.

"Chuys" wife of 54 years in marriage, Guadalupe G. Maldonado, along with his children, Francisco Maldonado Jr. and wife Angelica, Jesus Maldonado and wife Rosemarie, and Helen P. Guerra, are heartbroken by the loss of their beloved husband and father. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren - Sofia, Jude, Milena, Elijah, Ashley, Gabriella, Jesus, Jesusita, Jacob, Isaac, Seth, Kaleb, Austin "Tintin", as well as his 9 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and friends.

We take solace in knowing that "Chuy" is now in a better place, and that heaven has gained a treasured soul. We love you dad, you will live forever in our hearts.
