Francisco "Frank" Mascorro Jr. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the age of 74. Frank was born on January 30, 1949, in Castroville, Texas, to the late Francisco Sr. and Maria Elena Mascorro. Frank enjoyed spending time in his garage tinkering with anything that needed fixing while blasting his favorite Tejano music. He also enjoyed relaxing at home with his word search puzzles. Frank was a gifted candle maker for the Root Candle Company for 36 years before retiring. Above all, he was a loving Husband and Father that will be dearly missed. Frank is reunited in Heaven with his parents Francisco Sr. and Maria Mascorro and his son David Mascorro. Frank leaves behind his loving Wife of 44 years, Louisa Mascorro; his son Joseph Mascorro (Sonia); daughter Melissa Conde; son Mark Anthony Mascorro:son Frankie Mascorro III;and son Joel Conde Mascorro (Nora); 6 grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart in procession at 9:30am on Thursday, October 26, 2023 for a 10:00am Mass at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III.
