Francisco R.
Morales
March 20, 1953 – July 3, 2022
Francisco R. Morales went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2022, at the age of 69.
Francisco was born on March 20, 1953, in San Antonio Texas to the late Julia and Jesus Morales Sr. He grew up in a large family, one of eight, and attended Edgewood High school before deciding to put his country first. He would go on to enlist and proudly serve in the United States Army. Upon completion of his military work, he would then excel in the home construction industry where he completed many projects during his tenure. His children are Francisco Jr., Christopher, and Crystal, followed by his grandchildren will, sometimes without knowing, proudly carry on a legacy he now leaves behind.
Francisco enjoyed watching football, especially when his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys were playing. He loved watching old western films from the golden age of cinema. He leaves behind a treasured collection of Snoopy memorabilia that he collected during his time with us. Francisco enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; great conversations, making someone smile, and feeling hopeful for the future of those he knew.
He inspired those around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Francisco loved when family and friends would get together. Those times exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. He will be missed tremendously.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus C. Morales Sr. and Julia R. Morales, and brothers, Jesus R. Morales Jr and Ricardo R. Morales.
He is survived by his children, Francisco Morales Jr., Christopher Morales, and Crystal Morales; seven grandchildren; siblings, Vidal R. Morales, Maria Alicia Reyna (Valentin), Bellinda R. Morales, Elizabeth Hernandez, and Alma Rivas (Robert); aunt, Rosa Schmidtka; uncles, Roberto C. Morales, and Simon Gonzales Jr.; eighteen nephews and nieces; very close friend, Salvador Nieto; in addition to numerous extended family and friends.
