Frank "Pancho" Acosta, age 86, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Frank Acosta Sr. and Adela Acosta, who both preceded him in death.

Frank proudly served in the United States Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama, working as a firefighter with Co. E.P. Troops. He earned an honorable discharge and a Sharpshooter Badge for his pistol marksmanship. After his service, he owned and operated a body mechanic shop and had a long career as a body technician, known for his skill, hard work, and dedication. After retiring, Frank remained active as a handyman, always helping friends, family, and neighbors.

Frank shared many meaningful years with Esperanza Acosta, and together they raised daughters Yvonne Acosta and Iris Acosta Egure. He is also survived by his sons-in-law Mark Egure and Fernando Delgado; grandchildren Celeste Acosta, Leesianna Pruneda, Aedin Hernandez, Mark Anthony Egure, and Sophia Egure; sisters Janie Rodriguez (Arthur) and Sophie Garcia; and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.

Frank was a true jokester, a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved Tejano music, especially the songs of Vicente Fernández.

Frank lived a life guided by God, love, laughter, and family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
