Gabriel Contreras passed away peacefully on April 2nd 2025. Surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 73 years old. Born in Torreón, Coahuila México on March 24, 1952.

Gabriel was a hard-working man who worked various jobs in his life. He enjoyed spending Sundays watching his favorite team, Kansas City Chiefs play football. On his spare time he enjoyed tending to his plants and watching his tv. He was always trying to put a smile on other people's faces. Always kept to himself and never brought any trouble to anybody or himself.

Gabriel is proceeded in death by his mother Maria de Jesus Contreras and father Carlos Vasquez.

Gabriel is loved and will be missed by his son Gabriel Contreras Jr. granddaughters Riley Yanez, Skylar Yanez, and Elvia Contreras. Aunts Guadalupe Contreras, Bertha Wright and cousins Jeannette Jauregui, Aaron Reyes, Angel Reyes and other extended family and friends.
