Genaro R. Bocanegra passed into eternal peace on June 17, 2022 at the age of 84.  Born on December 2, 1937, Genaro was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.  He was also a talented musician who played with various musical groups, including mariachi, throughout his life.

Genaro is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Maria C. Bocanegra; his parents, Lazaro and Dionicia Bocanegra; his sister, Delia Sanchez; his brothers, Lazaro, Roberto, and Blas Bocanegra; and his grandson, Julian Bocanegra.

He is survived by his sons, Genaro Bocanegra Jr. (Denise), and Ruben Bocanegra (Teresa); his daughter, Elisa Bocanegra; his grandson, Justin Bocanegra and his great grandson, Jaxson Bocanegra.
