Genaro Caudillo was called home by the Lord on November 20, 2019, at the age of 58. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on September 19, 1961. He worked in landscaping, which reflected his love for the outdoors, often sitting outside with family and friends. He found fishing relaxing, as well. Tacos in the morning were a must. He was a loyal fan of the Washington Redskins, and loved watching wrestling. His taste in music went from Tejano to Rock-n-Roll like AC/DC. He was also fond of Bruce Lee movies. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan H. Caudillo. He is loved and will be missed by his wife of 20 years, Celia O. Caudillo; mother, Olivia Caudillo; daughters, Erica, April Nicole and Mariah Caudillo and Iris Ortiz; brothers, Juan Jr., Gilbert and Rosendo Caudillo; sister, Sylvia Ann Caudillo; and many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will take place at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funera Home.
