George R. Garza entered eternal rest on February 28, 2024 at the age of 60. He was born in San Antonio, TX on January 24, 1964. He lived most of his life in San Antonio but did leave for a few years to live in Houston, TX. He enjoyed traveling, concerts, theater, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-aunt; Gloria C. Vasquez, who raised him from a very young age; cousin, Gloria F. Vasquez; grandparents, Maria C. and Leonzo Garza Sr., Juan Regalado, and Frances Regalado; brother, Leo "Reddy" R. Garza III; and uncles, Ernest and Richard Garza. He is survived by his father, Leo Garza Jr.; mother, Martha Narvaez; sister, Nancy (Damian Jr.) Martinez; brothers, Rodney R. Garza and Ruben (Liz) Garza; nieces and nephews, Krystul (Jose), Clarissa, Marquiz, Damian III; great-niece, Jessiah; great-nephew, Eleazar; aunts and uncles, Yolanda Rivera, Velma (Manuel) Perez, Alma (George) Castillo, Norma (Jeff) Cleasby, Olga Alvarez, Minnie Salazar, Gloria Regalado and Robert Garza; favorite cousin, Veronica R. Sanchez; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and best friend, Lupe Deleon.

He leaves behind a void in the lives of those who were touched by knowing him. May his memory remain a source of comfort to all who knew him.
