George G. Vogt III

January 28, 1959 - February 8, 2023

George G. Vogt III, age 64, passed into the arms of our Lord on February 8th, 2023.
George was born on January 28th, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to George Vogt Jr. and
Stella Gomez, both of whom preceded him in death along with his sisters Gloria
Ansualda and Angie V. Rodriguez. George is survived by his high school sweetheart
and wife of 43 years Diana S. Vogt; Children George Vogt IV (Linda), Roxann Vogt
(Christopher), Kevin Vogt (Alorah); Grandchildren Ruby, Enso, Rianna, Bella, Landen,
Lathan, and Kylie; Siblings Daniel Gomez, Victor Vogt, Rudy Vogt (Angie), Larry Vogt
(Happy), Cynthia Vega (Victor); numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

George was known to his siblings as Nu-no. To his children he was their hero, their
biggest role model, their protector, their provider and the best dad they could ever
ask for. George was an A/C Service Technician for over 40 years. George had a heart
of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone, diagnosing A/C
issues over the phone. George had a love for buying lottery tickets and taking trips to
the casinos with his wife and family. In his downtime, you could always catch him
watching the Discovery Channel, Sci-Fi Channel and his favorite show Duck Dynasty.
George was a big jokester and prankster who loved to make people laugh.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 from 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM
at Castillo Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Family and friends
will depart the funeral home in procession at 9:30 AM on Thursday, February 16th,
2023 for a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. Interment will
follow at San Fernando Cemetery 3.
