Giefredo Salinas Rendon passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021 at 2:30 PM, surrounded by his loving family. He was 68 years old. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 1, 1952.

Giefredo worked for the San Antonio Light, Arizona Gazette and retired early from the Houston Post. In 1972 He married the love of his life Dora Rodriguez Rendon, who preceeded him in death in 2019. My Dad loved his Family and Football. I feel like Tom Brady should attend his funeral, he followed Bradys full career. Dad accepted Jesus in his heart before he passed away and that brings our family great joy. He loved his Sons and Daughters and grandkids. He will be missed Dearly.He loved to Jive.

Giefredo known as Jeffrey, will be missed by his Sons Jeff, Elias, Efren: Daughters Rachel, Herlinda and Felicia. Dad had 15 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. He will be missed by his siblings Robert, Ofelia and Sylvia and his Mother Mariana. He will be missed by friends, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. We love you Dad, Rest in Peace.
