Gilbert E. Medina of San Antonio, TX, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family members on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the blessed age of 81. He is reunited in heaven with his wife, Mary Lou Medina; his parents, Rafael and Teodula Medina; siblings, Viviana Montoya, Celestino Medina, Rafael Medina Jr. and Teodula (Lita) Garcia.

He is survived by his  sisters, Nicolasa Lopez and Gumecinda Martinez; brothers-in-law, Joe, Eduardo and Gustavo Lopez; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was a very devoted and dedicated worker. He started working for HEB at an early age of 17, until he retired in his late 60s. After he retired, he continued working part-time in the produce department of a wide variety of food and grocery stores. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
