Gilbert Rangel passed away on October 5th, 2022, surround by the warmth and love of his family.

Gilbert worked through culinary school and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America at the Pearl Brewery campus. He was married for 27 years to his love, Renee J. Rangel. He was a strong, loving, intelligent man. He loved his family and pets, and fought to and succeeded in providing for them. He was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49er's, and enjoyed collecting and playing with cool toys like RC cars and comic book figurines. He will be missed by his family forever and will always remain inside their hearts, minds and spirits.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his brothers, Omar Rangel, and Rodrigo Rangel Junior.

Gilbert is so loved and will be severely missed by his wife, Renee Rangel; son, Gilbert Rangel Junior; father, Rodrigo Rangel; mother, Theresa Rangel; brother, David Rangel; brother, Joel Rangel; sister, Celeste Rangel; 2 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
