Gilberto Martinez was called home into the arms of the Lord on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the blessed age of 86. Gilberto was born in Mexico on September 20, 1934 to Gil and Isabel (Castillo) Martinez. Gilberto is reunited in Heaven with his parents and his brothers Jose Francisco Martinez, Arturo Martinez, and Juan Martinez. Gilberto was loved and will be missed wholeheartedly by his 12 children: Javier Martinez (Maria), Maria Isabel Martinez Contreras(Carlos Noe Contreras), Roger Martinez (Bella Teran Martinez), Martha I. Martinez-Perez, Elvia Martinez, Leticia Martinez Sanchez, Veronica Martinez-Rodriguez (Noel), Jeannette Martinez Ramirez (Antonio), Jose Soto (Alondra), Gil Martinez (Tiffany ), Krystle Martinez (Jose), Joshua Martinez; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 3:30pm. Services to conclude on Saturday afternoon.
