Gloria Castillo passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. She was 68 years old. She was born in San Antonio TX, on November 4, 1956.

With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the beautiful life of Gloria Sanchez Castillo, a devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished daughter, and treasured friend. Gloria passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Gloria was the true embodiment of selflessness. A hardworking woman with a heart full of love, she always put her family before herself. Her greatest joy in life was making sure those around her were cared for, supported, and never alone. She was a constant presence in the lives of her loved ones — a quiet but powerful source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Gloria dedicated many years of her life to serving others through her work at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and work ethic. After retiring, she turned her full attention to the people she held dearest — her family. Her days were filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys of being present with those she loved most.

A lifelong lover of all things Disney, Gloria found magic in everyday moments and shared that wonder with her children and family on many treasured trips to Disney World. She was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs, cheering with pride and joy through every season.

Gloria was a woman of deep faith. Her belief in God was a guiding light throughout her life, shaping the way she loved, gave, and forgave. Her heart was open to all — not only a loving mother to Alex, Stephanie, and Jessica, but also a beloved aunt, daughter, sister, and friend.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lucia Sanchez.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Alejandro Castillo; her children, Alex Castillo, Stephanie Castillo, and Jessica Castillo; her father, Asuncion Sanchez; her siblings, Robert Sanchez, Sandra (Juan) Ramirez, and Stevie (Trica) Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will continue to carry her spirit forward.

Gloria's love was a gift — her memory a blessing. She will be missed more than words can express, but the impact she made will remain forever in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
