Our beloved mother, Gloria P. Castro was born on January 20, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas.  She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 17, 2023. She was 90 years old.

Gloria worked as a Storm Elementary teacher's aide and cafeteria cook. She was  a member of the Sociedad Cuauhtemoc, Sociedad Cruz Blanca, Union Fraternal and YMCA Westside. She enjoyed playing bingo, canasta,  dancing, and attending many senior activities with organizations.

Gloria is survived by her children Dennis (Helen) Orozco, MaryLouise Sauceda, Robert (Connie) Orozco, Gloria O. Esquivel, and Rudy (Lolis) Orozco. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren,  23 Great-Grandchildren, numerous Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Antonio S. Orozco Sr; her son Tony Orozco Jr. and her parents Nicolas and Tomasa Pedraza.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm  a rosary will be recited.

The funeral mass will be conducted on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The burial will follow with a graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery II.
