Gloria P. Celestino

April 19, 1945- April 28, 2024

A loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Gloria passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024. She was 79 years old, was born in San Antonio, Tx on April 19, 1945. Gloria was strong, kind, loving, and helpful always there for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her former husband Roger Guerra, her father Manuel Pina, mother Maria, and brother Manuel.

Gloria enjoyed shopping, and baking. Truly enjoyed her career as far back as an employee of Piggly Wiggly, to H-E-B, and finally retiring from South West Independent School District.

Gloria will be loved and missed by her husband of 10 years, Tony Celestino, son Peter Pina, Grand-daughter Savannah Garcia, step-daughter Violet Celestino. Over a great extended family of  step-children, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren, and great-grand children, and extended friends.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N General McMullen, San Antonio from 4:00pm-8:00 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. A funeral service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at First Memorial Park Cemetery near Poteet, Texas.
