Gloria Sylvia Dreblow-Lopez, 57, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Germany on August 16, 1966, a daughter of the late Theresia and Norman Dreblow.
Gloria accomplished much in life. She lived her life guided by the love for her family, her faith in a higher power and her understanding of how precious time is. As a wife and partner, she was always valuing her role, happy to have someone to share her life with. As a mother, she was nurturing and present, there for all the milestones of her children's lives. As a grandmother she was loving and giving, there to put a smile on their faces and truly enjoyed her time spent with them. As a sister she was one to be counted on, there from the beginning. She genuinely loved being with her family and loving on her cat Cali. Gloria was a treasured soul who will be missed and remembered forever by those who knew and loved her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Theresia and Norman Dreblow, she is also preceded in death by Coco.
Family members survived by include her partner of 22 years, Mikey Valdez; children, Valerie Garcia, Cynthia A. Dowdy (David A. Dowdy), Carlos A. Alonzo "CJ", Dominique R. Roose (Allen Roose) and Nicole Pena (Nicolas Pena); nine grandchildren, Kaylee Garcia, Emberlyn Garcia, Ian Garcia, Nicholas Roose, Brooke Roose, Cole Pena, Grayson Dowdy, Olivia Dowdy and Addalyn Dowdy; two sisters, Roswitha Martinez (Sinesio Martinez III) and Diana Dreblow (Israel Rodriguez); a niece, Andrea Jurado; two nephews, Sinesio Martinez IV and Alejandro Jurado; in addition to numerous extended family members and friends.
The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on January 25, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm for a rosary service.
