Gloria G. Rodriguez, 76, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born in San Antonio, Gloria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who filled every room with her laughter and warmth. Known for her storytelling and generous heart, she brought joy to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

A strong and resilient woman, Gloria worked in housekeeping and as a CNA, caring for others with dedication and compassion. She will be remembered for her hard work, her love for family, and the joy she shared with everyone around her.

Gloria is survived by her children: Javier Villanueva, Remigio (Rod) Rodriguez Jr., David Villanueva, Valerie Rodriguez Rueda, and Laura Rodriguez; her grandchildren: Victoria Williams, Morgan Wangsness, Tristan Nail, Nevaeh Villanueva, Felipa Rueda, Lola Rueda, Jacob Villanueva, Desiree Villanueva, Brianna Villanueva, Delia Rodriguez, Phura Rodriguez, and Michael Siebenhausen; and her great-grandchildren: Colton Wangsness, Angelino Rueda, Ila Rueda, and Jasper Villanueva. She is also survived by her siblings: Julio Puente Jr., Margie Lozano, Andrew Puente, Raul Puente, Ray Puente, Roland Puente, and Cyndi Puente Rueda.

She was predeceased by her father, Julio Puente; her mother, Herlinda Puente; her sister, Linda Puente; her spouse, Remigio Rodriguez; and her son, Vincent Rodriguez.

Rosary will be held on January 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., with a funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima on January 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Wildflower Cemetery.

Gloria's love, laughter, and spirit will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
