In loving memory of Gloria G. Garcia
Gloria G. Garcia was born on February 28, 1950, and peacefully went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2026.
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Elisa Gonzales; brother, Martin Quiroz; brother-in-law, Hector Cuenca; and nephew, Joshua Hernandez.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory her devoted husband of 53 years, Jerry D. Garcia; her siblings, Teresa Cuenca, Anita Rodriguez, Manuel Gonzales, Marta Hernandez, David Gonzales, and Juan Vasquez; and her children, Jerry Garcia Jr., Elisa Garcia, and Jason Garcia. One of her greatest joys in life was being a loving grandmother to 8 grandchildren; and a proud great-grandmother to 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends whom she loved deeply.
Gloria enjoyed cooking, crafting, dancing, gardening, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family. She dedicated many years of her life to working with children at PCI and Avance Head Start, where she enjoyed making a difference in the lives of others and cherished the connections she made along the way.
Gloria had a special love for dogs and welcomed them into her heart and home as family. Her home was always filled with love and laughter, serving as the heart of countless celebrations and cherished family memories throughout the years.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord.
