Gloria Gonzales was called to heaven on Good Friday, April 7, 2023. Gloria was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 11, 1941 to Humberto and Clara Gil. She married Louis Gonzales on May 1st 1961 with whom she had two awesome children. Gloria was a strong, beloved, sister, wife, mom and grandmother. She loved to cook, she loved music; most of all she loved to dance in the kitchen with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Louis Gonzales and her brother Richard Gil.

She is survived by her children Gloria (Joseph), Robert (Sandra) and her grandson Luis and sisters: Clara, Margaret, Teresa, Connie included extended family.

"I never believed we lived to see an angel being born and flying home. We love you mom."

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart from Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 8:15am for a mass at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church at 9:30am. Burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with at ETA of 11:00am.
