Gloria Garcia Revilla, age 92, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, faith, hard work, and devotion to her family and community.

Gloria was a remarkable woman whose strong work ethic was evident throughout her life. She was a longtime employee of Harlandale Independent School District and South San Antonio Independent School District, where she dedicated many years of service as a school bus driver. She loved working with the students. Her commitment to her work and the people around her reflected the values she carried throughout her life.

Those who knew Gloria will remember her for her compassion, generosity, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. She had a special way of making people feel cared for and welcomed. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she faithfully helped at church in any way she could. One of her cherished traditions was making coffee every Sunday, a simple act that brought people together and reflected her generous and caring spirit.

Gloria enjoyed working on her yard, reading the morning paper with her coffee and crocheting items for the family. She found joy in the simple moments of life, especially those shared with family, friends, and loved ones. Her home and heart were always open to those who needed her, and her presence brought warmth and comfort to many.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Antonio Revilla Sr. and brothers Richard Esquivel and George Garcia. Gloria is survived by her sister, Juanita Salter; her beloved daughters, Margaret Martinez (Joe), Sylvia Esquivel (Joe), Nancy Ximenez (Wally), and JoAnn Burriola (Sebastian); her son, Antonio Revilla Jr.; her stepchildren Delfina (Denny), Antonia (Tom), Victoria (Bobby), Charles (Amy); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her family was one of her greatest sources of pride and joy. She cherished each generation and leaves behind countless memories that will continue to live on through them. The lessons she taught through her example—of working hard, giving generously, showing kindness, remaining loyal, and keeping faith—will remain a lasting part of her family's legacy.

Though Gloria will be deeply missed, her love, laughter, generosity, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

May she rest in eternal peace.
