Gloria
Reyes
August 26, 1948 – October 31, 2021
Gloria Reyes passed away peacefully on October 31, 2021, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 73 years old and was born in San Antonio, TX on August 26, 1948.
She married her high school sweetheart and was married for fifty three beautiful years. She was a wonderful, caring and loving mother to her three children. She loved dancing, singing and having a good time with family. Her favorite music genres were Motown, oldies, Tejano and she enjoyed hearing mariachis play. She also loved fiesta and she had a large collection of medals and horse figurines. One of her favorite pass times was being at the beach in Corpus Christi. We all have beautiful memories with her sitting out on the beach. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren attending everything they did from music to sports.
She was also an avid sports fan. She loved her Dallas Cowboys, Spurs, Longhorns and Aggies. Always watching her football games and cheering them on. A special time for her was the holidays as she enjoyed decorating for these occasions. She loved Halloween and enjoyed passing out candy to the children. Other specials holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas always spending them with her family.
She is preceded in death by her loving father Richard DeLuna and grandparents Guadalupe and Eliza Rodriguez and survived by her loving mother Herminia Moreno.
She is loved and will be missed by her husband Antonio Reyes, her son Richard Reyes (spouse Pam Reyes), her daughter Debra Gallardo (spouse Paul Gallardo) and her son Michael Reyes (fiancé Carely Marinero). Also by grandchildren Nicole and Amber Gallardo. And by great grandchildren Csejth and Corey Rodriguez. And by siblings Mary Lou Aguilar, Norma Hernandez and Linda Howard and by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Heaven has gained an angel and we know you're dancing in heaven. You will be greatly missed and you will live forever in our hearts. Till we meet again. We love you.
