Gloria H. Saucedo, 81, lifetime resident of San Antonio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Santos G. Hernandez; and grandson, John Cirlos II. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Miguel Saucedo; oldest daughter Dolores; granddaughters Marla, Christina, Lizette, Marissa, and Josette; grandson Jose; son Andres and daughter-in-law Norma; daughter Rebecca and son-in-law John; and granddaughters Trinity, Bethany, and Sydney.

Gloria will forever be remembered for her many crafts and hobbies. She excelled in crochet, knitting, sewing, and gardening. She loved spending time with her many friends and writing to many pen pals throughout the years.

A rosary is scheduled at Castillo-Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen on Thursday, October 28, 6 p.m. Family and friends will depart Castillo Funeral Home at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29,  for an 8:30 a.m. Mass at Christ The King Church, 2610 Perez Street with internment to follow at Fort Sam Houston.
