In Loving Memory of
Gloria Tovar Betancourt
04/05/1953 - 07/02/2026
With profound love and heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Gloria Tovar Betancourt.
Gloria was the heart of our family. She lived a life filled with love, faith, kindness, and quiet strength. She found her greatest happiness in caring for the people she loved, always putting family first and making everyone feel welcome with her warm smile and gentle spirit.
She had a special gift for bringing people together. Whether she was cooking a delicious meal, baking something sweet, tending to her beautiful garden, or simply spending time watching her grandchildren laugh and play, those moments brought her the greatest joy. Her home was a place of comfort, love, and cherished memories that will remain in our hearts forever.
Gloria is lovingly survived by her children: Sergio Betancourt and his wife, Jessica; Ramiro Betancourt and his wife, Claudia; Alfredo Betancourt and his wife, Sylvia; and Elisa Betancourt Calito and her husband, Carlos Calito. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends, all of whom were blessed by her unconditional love, kindness, and unwavering devotion.
She is now reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, her beloved husband, Ramiro Betancourt. While our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in knowing they are together once again, resting in God’s eternal peace.
Gloria’s love will continue to guide us, her kindness will inspire us, and her memory will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer by our side, she will always be with us—in every family gathering, every home-cooked meal, every blooming flower, and every cherished memory.
“The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them.” — Book of Wisdom 3:1
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
