Graceala Ruelas Hernandez was born on July 22,  1960, in Ludington, Michigan.  She passed away peacefully at home in Poteet, Texas on April 25, 2025, at the age of 64 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents , Bernardo and Cesaria Sanchez. Sisters Ernestina Castoreno and Maria Ortencia Carrillo.  Husband Pedro R. Hernandez.
Graceala will be greatly missed by her sons, Roland Ruelas (Ginger), Pedro Hernandez Jr. (Jessica), Juan Hernandez, Richard Hernandez (Evelyn) and Helodoro (Lolo) Hernandez (Stephanie).   Her brothers  Simon Ruelas, Raul Ruelas, Mario Ruelas and Raymond Ruelas. Sisters Bella Abundis and Yolanda Castillo.  Graceala had 33 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.   Graceala also left behind her fur babies Jojo and Chapo.
Graceala had a love for life and loved playing bingo, toma todo and loteria .  She loved hanging out with her sister Yoli, loved to dance, going out bars with her kids in her younger years , watching her novelas and loved her Virgen de Guadalupe.  In the later part of her life she loved to eat lollipops and if she didn't like the flavor she would throw them on the floor. She loved to hide her socks from us under her pillow and loved the show El Chapo.  She always kept us on our toes .
