Graciela V.
Lopez
October 30, 1951 – August 15, 2020
Graciela V. Lopez age 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday August 15, 2020. She was born on October 30, 1951 in San Antonio Tx to Hilario Juarez Lopez and Bernardina Vasquez Lopez. She was a 1972 graduate of Edgewood High School and then worked at Lackland Air force base as a cook for many years before retiring for medical reasons. Gracie, as she was affectionately called, loved to cook for her family. A few of her specialties were homemade flour tortillas, always fluffy and delicious, her crispy fried chicken, and her soft rolled tacos. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, always giving them pan dulce and of course, tortillas. It was the simple pleasures in life that made her happy. Anyone that knew Gracie knew she was loud and quite spirited. She loved a great joke; she loved to laugh and be silly. She never lost her sense of humor. She is survived by her son, Isidoro Anthony Lopez and wife Natasha. Daughter, Bernardina Lopez. Grandchildren, Clarissa Denise and Joseph Michael Collins, Isiah Anthony, Ian Alexander, and Tabitha Anneliese Lopez. Siblings Isidoro H., Belinda Ann Lopez and Elisa Rodriguez. Funeral Services will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Tuesday September 01, 2020. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who knew and loved Graciela. Today we celebrate her life.
