Gregorio Araujo Jr, born on November 30, 1950, was called home to be with our Lord on August 6, 2022, at the blessed age of 71.  He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Lanier High School in 1969, then attended San Antonio College. He proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Sierra and USS Yosemite. He loved working as a machinist. On December 28, 1970, he married his high school sweetheart, Jesusita "Susie." Gregorio was very giving of his time and helped anyone in need. He served as a Cub Scout Master during his son's younger years. He enjoyed working on cars, tending to his fruit trees, listening to Oldies music and watching old Western movies. He loved spending time with his family and cooking their favorite meals most of all. He made a huge impact on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Gregorio is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susie; children Gregorio and Wendy; grandchildren, Jonathan and Brandon; sister, Maria; brothers, Rudy, Ismael and LeRoy. He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Gregorio and Eudelia; and brothers, Hector and Richard.
