On September 14, 2021 Gregorio Espinoza Sr a.k.a Don Goyo went to be with the Lord at the blessed age of 81.  He was born in Nuevo Laredo on October 12, 1939.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, sisters, and two grandchildren.  He relocated to San Antonio, Tx to raise his family.  Gregorio Sr. is survived by his wife of 60 years Maria Aurelia Espinoza.  Gregorio's children and their supportive spouses, Gregorio Espinoza Jr (Bertha), Alicia Arreola (Ignacio), Cesar Espinoza (Yvonne), Israel Espinoza (Veronica), Sonia Espinoza (Sabino), Javier Espinoza (Margie), Teresa Lopez (Christopher), Lupe Hernandez (Raymundo), Sandra Vanessa Canizales (Joshua). Proud Grandfather to 25 grandchildren: Ignacio Jr, Jesenia (Gino), Jesse, Joe (Ashley), Marcos, Juan, Michael, Cesar Jr, Israel Jr, Amanda, Marisa (Johnny), Adrian, Abelardo, Javier Jr, Abigail, Jake, Cody, Dakota, Eric, Tristan, Marianna (Victor), Daniel, Mya, Aiden, Kailey and 5 great grandchildren: Carlos, Cristiano, Carlos, Abcde, Isidro Gregorio Sr. was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.  His profound love for his family was apparent.  His passion for playing guitar and accordion to sing with his wife and friends brought him great joy.  He also enjoyed landscaping and had an amazing green thumb which helped beautify his home. Gregorio's abundance of skills kept him busy fixing multiple types of machinery for family, friends, and neighbors.  He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to have known Gregorio Sr.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Thursday, September 30, 2021, Visitation/ Viewing from 5:00-8:00 p.m, Rosary 6:00-7:00 p.m.  The funeral procession will depart October 1, 2021, 9:00am to St. Bonaventure, then be laid to rest at First Memorial Park Cemetery in Von Ormy, Tx.
