September 21, 1955 – October 23, 2025

Our beloved Gregorio H. Galan, also known as "Goyo", was born in San Antonio, TX on September 21, 1955, and passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel F. and Francisca H. Galan, his brothers Martin, Edward, Richard and his sister Margarita.

He is survived by his devoted and beloved wife, Mary and his children: Gregorio Jr (Michelle Casarez), Eve Marie and Valeen Joy, his siblings: Juan, Arthur, Balvino Sr (Clara Jo), Steve, Sylvia (Tony) Quintero, Beatrice (Mario) Bobadilla and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

His unconditional love for his family was unwavering. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work as a painter. His favorite pastime was going fishing, barbecuing for family functions, listening to oldies and dancing. He was also a skilled and talented pool player and a pro at dominoes. He will be missed immensely by all.

Visitation and a viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 4pm-8pm with prayer service from 6p-7p at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, TX 78228.
