Obituary

Gregorio Molina passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 76 years old. He was born in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on May 9, 1948.

Gregorio will be remembered by his strong work ethic and those who loved him enjoyed hearing stories of work he began at the early age of eight years old when even then, he wanted to help provide for his family. He moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1971 and after several jobs, opened his own business of tailoring and dry cleaning, which remained successful for thirty years. Always devoted to family, it remained a family business, and he worked beside his beloved brother, Arnulfo Loera throughout.

He was known by so many in the community for his outgoing personality and love he showed to everyone he crossed paths with. He was never too busy to talk and share stories with a stranger. He had a unique ability to make a person he had just met feel like a lifelong friend. He was very proud of his roots and culture, which was evident by the music that would be playing whenever you stepped into the Cleaners, and his desire to dance whenever his favorite ranchera came on.

Gregorio loved being surrounded by his family and had a special and loving relationship with his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He always found a way to be present for an important event and show them that they were very loved.

If Gregorio wasn't working at his business, you could normally find him working on the land that he loved. Even though the Cleaners was something he worked very hard for and held close to his heart, his land was his pride and joy. He loved spending his free time finding ways to make it look just a little bit better for the next gathering. He loved working outside whether it was tending to the animals, gardening, or decorating the ranch which was his place of peace.

Gregorio is also preceded in death by his parents, Basilisa Molina Loera and Hilario Loera Cadena and brother, Jose Arnulfo Loera Molina.

Gregorio will be greatly missed by his children Liliana M. Corrales, Trey Corrales, Barbara Molina-Fantell, Jon Fantell, Ruben Gregorio Molina, and Linda Sanchez Molina; by his grandchildren, Aubrey Bobe, Trey Albert Corrales II, Victoria Elizabeth Corrales, Ruben Gabriel Molina, Brooke Isabella McGill, Angela Lynn Molina, and Gabriela Mari Molina; by his great-grandchildren Estella Leia Bobe and Celina Bella Bobe; by his siblings, Maria Cruz  Loera Molina and Jose De Jesus Loera Molina, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
