August 13, 1943 – July 26, 2024
Gregorio L. Reyes, 80, widower of Maricela J. Reyes, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family. He was born on August 13, 1943, in Pearsall, Texas, a son of the late Marcelina Lopez and Gregorio Reyes Sr.
Gregorio led a remarkable life filled with his passions and accomplishments. He graduated from Pearsall High School class of 1963 and attended St. Phillips College. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he dedicated 35 years to a career with Kelly AFB.
He touched the lives of many through his philanthropy, community involvement and contributions to those who needed him. He was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church prayer group and Christ the King Prayer Group
He especially enjoyed restoring his 1967 Mustang. Was an avid sports fan whose favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns, but he especially enjoyed watching baseball. His free time was spent outside, BBQing or fishing at the coast and gambling at Kickapoo in Eagle Pass, Texas, to name a few.
We will forever cherish the memories of Gregorio's remarkable life and the impact he made on all those who knew him.
Gregorio is reunited in heaven with his wife of 54 years Maricela J. Reyes and his parents Marcelina Lopez and Gregorio Reyes Sr.
