Gregory C. Puente was called home into the lord's arms on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at the age of 75 years old. Gregory was born in San Antonio, Texas to Samuel and Maria Puente on November 22nd, 1948.

Gregory has spent his life as a blue-collar man working and successfully owning his own contracting business and Sunday would trade it in for a suit and tie to stand and preach the word of God. Gregory devoted his life to the lord in 1975. He became an ordained pastor on August 11, 2002. He ministered through the radio station KEDA for 44 years, and how he reached so many lives through his preachings on Sunday mornings to national areas. He also ministered to the youth group by attending multiple conventions and has broadcasted live on local television to the community. Gregory co-pastored at multiple churches throughout the San Antonio area as well.

Gregory is reunited in heaven with his parents Samuel and Maria Puente, his sister Celia Sandoval, his daughters Ann Marie Casanova and Janie Martinez, and his great-grandson Jayden Rene Puente. Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Maria Anna Puente, and his sons, Gregorio Puente (Lisa Puente), Donald Puente (Victoria Puente), and Ronald Puente (Chasity Puente). Also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Gregory has made many deep connections and great partnerships, and friendships throughout his life. For now, we grieve the loss of a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Through our sorrows are heard, we shall always put our faith in the lord and hold onto the memories of a great man. The Puente family would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers through this very difficult time.
